|How to Install ACR (Avaya Contact Recorder) 12 on Windows Server 2008 R2
I’m here to show or help you to how to intall Avaya ACR 12 installation Also known as Call Recording & Quality Monitoring.
This ACR application is originally powered by “Verint” Group , which Avaya has some collaboration and uses their product and sell as AVAYA (AVAYA CALL RECORDER)
Anyhow, This Avaya ACR product is very power full application and Capable of Integrated with Avaya Red CM+AES and Avaya Blue CS1K & AACC.
In this post i’ll share the installation process and in later stages i’ll do the integration posts aswell.
Deploy ACR 12 Step by Step
So lets begin with the ACR Server platform and per-requieset requirements.
Server Hardware Requirement:-
Below is the minimum Hardware requirement for the simplex installation
Note The hardware and Storage requirements vary on the load and number of Agents customer has.
2.67GHz six-core CPU with Intel Supplemental SSE3 (SSSE3) support
1Gbps Ethernet NIC port
8GB RAM
RAID 1 or 5 strongly recommended
DVD drive for installation of software (capable of writing DVD+RW and/or Blu-ray disks
if local archiving is required)
Storage and Paritioning
Please make sure you have done your proper Sizing calculation for the Server storage and Archiving storage.
It’s always recommended to have minimum 3 Partitions on the server.
C: – Operating system partition
D:- ACR Software Partition
F:- Media or Wave file Partition (Where you store the recording file)
Once all the above pre-requieset is in place. you are ready to start the installation.
Follow the installation below
1) Insert ACR DVD and execute “install.htm” file, as shown below
Installation will process
Click Next.
Click Chnage and celect the “D” drive as Installation directory.
Now click “Install”
Once it is done and click finish, then reboot the machine and make sure the Following services are running in services console.
“ACR Services”
“Postgress Sql” service.
